Equalities Group
Moffat Academy’s Equalities Committee made up of a team of enthusiastic and passionate young people, the committee will be working together to generate and present at a number of whole-school assemblies over the course of the year, discussing issues close to their hearts.
Dumfries & Galloway Rape Crisis
Dumfries and Galloway Rape Crisis are going to be launching an Instagram account on the 25th of November. This day is significant as it is the international day for the Elimination of Violence against women and is also the first day of the 16 days of Activism. The 16 days of Activism is an international campaign against Gender-based Violence. The campaign runs until December 10th, Human Rights Day.
We have made a poster in support for ending Violence against women and girls.
