Information & Communication Technology

As a result of increased influence of technology in our society it is important that children are provided with the opportunity to develop their skills and to become familiar with technology. Within our school Information Communication Technology (ICT) is incorporated into all aspects of the pupil’s learning. The children follow a programme of skills development and are then given the opportunity to utilise these skills within other curricular areas. The Primary Department has been “on line” for many years enabling all pupils to have access to the Internet and e-mail, under the terms of our home/school agreement. This is detailed in our Internet Access Policy – available on request. Pupils regularly have the opportunity to work in our secondary ICT suite.
