Poster Winners Tammi and Emelie
Congratulations to both Tammi McAleese and Emelie McKenna who have been successful in winning local poster competitions. Tammi won a prize in the Moffat Show Poster Competition and both Tammi and Emelie won prizes in the Houston's Competition. Well done to both.
Granny Mave
On Wednesday 24th May, Granny Mave, who is currently cycling a 1000 mile journey around Scotland for Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland, took her overnight stop in Moffat.
It also happened to be Mavis' 85th birthday so our young people from Moffat Primary and Beattock Primary School made some cards and presented them to Mave at her surprise birthday buffet at Moffat Town Hall. She was over the moon with all the amazing designs and supportive words in them. Well done Granny Mave, you are an inspiration to all! 🚴♀️🏴
Thank you to Anne Garrett for inviting us and to Cora, Ava, Isla, Olly and Finn who kindly came along to help present Mave's cards.
