Beattock Primary News 2023/24, Term 3
Below are some of our news articles from term 3. Please check out all of our other activities and news on the Whole School Cluster News Page!
How the Dragon was Made
P4-7 performed ‘How the Dragon was Made’ to their families, as well as their Moffat and Beattock peers, on Monday. This Scottish Opera assembly incorporated words in Mandarin so the pupils did really well learning new vocabulary.
We also welcomed our families into class for a family learning event. This allowed us to share our work on Chinese New Year and our learning of Mandarin.

Rugby Taster
Cammy and Kelly from the Moffat Rams came and gave P1-3 a rugby taster session last term. The children had a lot of fun playing different games and developing their rugby skills. There is an after school rugby session every Tuesday. If your child would like to attend please contact Calum Graham from Active Schools to book in Calum.graham@dumgal.gov.uk
Thanks Cammy and Kelly!
