We are hoping to raise funds to purchase playground toys and games for all young people in Moffat Primary to use every day and enjoy.

We only have 18 days to raise as much as we possibly can in order to win this challenge - if we come first, Cash for Kids will give us a cash prize of £5000 on top of the funds we raise already. Cash for Kids will also match any amount we raise - so this is a great opportunity to improve our playground - please help us with any amount you can, no matter how small you donation. Our Pupil Council carried out a survey from P1 to P7 to collect ideas for items and activities they wanted to see in our playground. They wanted to make the space more enjoyable and accessible for everyone and include activities which are inclusive to all and promote health and wellbeing.

They would like to see funds raised to buy or create:
Goals on the grass pitch
A bug hotel and nature area
A lovely place to read
A climbing frame for older children
Footballs and dodgeballs
Basketballs and hoops
Tug-of-war ropes
Rugby balls
Skipping ropes
A metal chute/slide

They were also wanting us to find funds to create painted games on the tarmac of the playground like:
Snakes and Ladders
Hopscotch
Noughts and Crosses
Chess
A dotty grid for drawing
A running track
A maze
A scooter track

We're raising money as part of the Schools Challenge with Cash for Kids. We'll get to keep everything we raise, but the top three fundraising schools will receive an extra award from the charity!
