Head Boy Selected for the Scottish National Debating Team, 2022/23 - Term 1

Our Head Boy, Elliott Hepburn, has recently been  selected for the Scottish debating national team training squad.  If selected, he will represent team Scotland in the world debating championships in Vietnam. 

This is just one of recent achievements for Elliott; this summer he attended Herbert Smith Freehills Law Firm in London where he had been awarded with an internship. Elliott said: It was eye-opening and solidified my dreams of being a lawyer'.

Elliott has also been lucky enough to have been picked to go on a school trip to Auschwitz with fellow S6 pupil Kit Armstrong. Two pupils from Moffat Academy attend the one day trip every year along with pupils from other schools. Elliott is looking forward to further understanding the great loss we suffered in the Auschwitz and how we were affected.
