Matilda Jr has been a collaborative project between Primary 6 and Primary 7 within the Moffat and Beattock cluster this term. A true test of teamwork, the group of over 70 young people had to learn singing and speaking roles, choreography, and understand the workings of the technical aspects of theatre including set design, lighting and sound. With two evening performances on Wednesday 20^th and Thursday 21^st March, we received outstanding family and community feedback including: 'You were like professionals', 'Best show ever, even better than the film' and 'You could be on Broadway!'. 

The young people displayed impressive confidence, determination and a keen sense of fun. It was a delight to see each individual's talents and skills showcased and learner feedback was overwhelmingly positive! Well done to all 'maggots' involved!
