Launch of Dumfries and Galloway GIRFEC website

The new Children’s Services GIRFEC website is now live, and can be accessed here:

The site development has been led by the multi-agency DG GIRFEC Leadership Group, and contains information and resources for professionals and families, including:

• Our local GIRFEC tools, templates and guidance (including our revised Request for Assistance Form and GIRFEC Practitioner Guidance)

• A range of resources for professionals, including a ‘service on a page’ Service Directory.

• Information on Children’s Rights

• Information for families on GIRFEC and child’s planning in Dumfries and Galloway.
