Prom 2022

Congratulations to this year's Prom Committee on a fantastic Prom held at Moffat Town Hall on Friday 10^th June 2022.

Depute Head Girl and Prom Committee member Ava Hume said 'Thank you to Mr Yuill for piping on the evening and to Rhu Montgomerie for photo assistance. Thank you to all at Moffat Town Hall and to everyone who supported us throughout the year and our fundraising efforts. It was an incredible night enjoyed by all. We couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our time at Moffat Academy'.

I write on behalf of the staff and volunteers of Moffat Town Hall Redevelopment Trust who were involved with the Class of 2022 Prom held last Friday in Moffat Town Hall.

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of this special day, and I was touched by the number of students who said how much they had enjoyed the event and expressed their thanks for the effort we had made. Some of the students assisted in setting up the hall and their creative flair was evident.

This was dearly an exciting event for the students, and some high spirits could have been expected, but their behaviour was exemplary and a credit to them all. Those of us helping during the evening noticed a strong bond between the students and teachers, considering the difficult time experienced during the past 2 years, it is highly commendable that the teachers of Moffat Academy encouraged and supported all the pupils throughout and are clearly held in high regard.

It was a privilege to be part of Moffat Àcademy Prom and we take this opportunity to wish all the class of 2022 the very best for their future careers.
