Sprint Relay

Tuesday 24th May saw the return of the annual Annandale and Eskdale Primary 4x100m Sprint Relay competition. Staff and pupils were very excited for this event to be organised again. Moffat were able to organise two boy’s teams and two girl’s teams to attend this competition. Each of the teams managed to set their personal best times and agreed it was much easier to run on a running track as opposed to our grass field. All Moffat teams ran with great effort and all managed to qualify for the finals.

The Moffat girl’s A team performed exceptionally well on the day to win both their heats and the final race to win the trophy for Moffat.

The Moffat girl’s B team finished fourth in the final.

The Moffat boys A team finished second in the final to win the silver medals

The Moffat boys B team finished fourth in the final.

The pupils involved were: Imogen Thomson, Macey Dempsey, Neave Beveridge, Chloe Quigley, Grace Palmer, Eloise Graham, Penny Prentice, Lexi Goodwin, Fred Kershaw, Oliver McCaffery, Rory Alston, Archie Brown, Frederick Brown, Alfie Wallace, Jake Wilson and Euan Little.
