RME

Our RME programme involves pupils in the exploration of different beliefs and how these are demonstrated. As they move up through the school, the children have the opportunity to develop their understanding of diversity in our society and their role within it. Teachers are guided by our RME programme which focuses on Christianity, World Religions and developing beliefs and values. We have visits from our Chaplaincy Team. The role of the Chaplaincy Team includes:- 

• Being a resource for the RME curriculum;
• Providing pastoral care for staff and pupils (and if appropriate, their families); 
• Being available at community events in the life of the school;
• Having a key role at times of extreme difficulty; 
• Within Learning Communities, providing a bridge and common resources across the Learning Community.
