Secondary Reading Programme
S1 and S2 are working on our Reading Programme. They are attending the library for one period a week to work on their Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum awards.
Please encourage your children to read their library books at home.

Some of our recent certificate achievers 2025
Bronze Task
Pupils must read five books of their choice from five different genres, then complete a 'Reading Report' and undertake a short interview with Miss Gibbon for each book.
Silver Task
As Bronze, but ten books to read.
Gold task
Pupils must read fifteen books and choose one of three tasks to complete plus the Reading Report Sheet.
Platinum task
As Gold, but twenty books.
